London experimental/math/electronica heroes Three Trapped Tigers will headline Portals Festival 2019. The trio, celebrated by the likes of Brian Eno, Drowned in Sound and NME as at the cutting edge of contemporary music, will close the festival on Sunday 9th June.
After selling out The Dome & Boston Music Room for the inaugural Portals Festival in 2018, a new third stage at Aces & Eights Bar, just across from the main space, will allow up-and-coming UK bands to showcase their talents.
The lineup announcement also sees the first UK performance for Norwegian experimental rock geniuses The Samuel Jackson Five, a rare London show for Belgian alt-rock madmen The Guru Guru, plus sets from Telepathy, Poly-Math, Waking Aida, Halo Tora, Kusanagi, Hypophora and A-Tota-So.
