WOLF GIRL release new song ‘Dream Partner’ with music video
From the album ‘Every Now & Then’ – out this week

‘Dream Partner ‘ is the latest track to be revealed from Wolf Girl’s new album ‘Every Now & Then’, which is set for release this Friday via Everything Sucks Music. The first Wolf Girl song to be penned by the band’s drummer Christabel Williams, ‘Dream Partner’ is about the relationships you have in your dreams. Elaborating on said relationships, Christabel says “They last in your subconscious, and I like the idea of a love song to people you didn’t even realise you loved. The song was inspired by Carole King’s ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow’”

The music video for the track is a tongue-in-cheek look at searching for that dream partner via a series of disastrous dates.

Wolf Girl also recently announced a special album launch show at much-loved and important venue DIY Space For London on Friday 26th October. The show kicks off a run of dates in November that comprise the band’s ‘Every Now & Then’ Tour. See below for details.

‘Every Now & Then’ consists of nine hook-laden tunes about queer feelings, coming out and dealing with social burnout and marks a real period of growth for Wolf Girl. With Healey helming the majority of the songwriting, each track acted as a strange kind of therapy and catharsis, exploring sexuality, gender identity and anxiety.

The crunching, distorted guitars and catchy melodies that fans will remember from the band’s first album can still be found on ‘Every Now & Then’. But this new album is a bigger, braver and, at times, completely heart-breaking collection of songs and experiences – political, poignant, yet perfectly pop.
