John Nolan Announces Abendigo
Out 11/2 via Collective Confusion Records

John Nolan (Taking Back Sunday, Straylight Run) has just announced his new solo album Abendigo, coming out November 2nd via Collective Confusion Records. Nolan is now premiering the first new song “Do You Remember?” via Consequence Of Sound. Consequence Of Sound calls the album “bigger than anything he’s done before, filled with a new fury and grit.” Adding, “It’s a fitting soundscape to build off of as Nolan moves from lyrical introspection toward an examination of the larger ‘societal’ human condition.” Pre-orders for the album are available now. John Nolan will be touring this November in support of the new album. A full list of dates can be found below.

Welcome to Abendigo, Taking Back Sundays guitar player John Nolan’s third solo album. Earlier this year John entered the studio with producer Mike Sapone (Taking Back Sunday, Mayday Parade, Brand New) and engineer Brett Romnes (Free Throw, Sorority Noise). Together they were able to capture the energetic vocals and musicianship he envisioned for this endeavor. Abendigo blends rock with elements of electronic and ambient music to create something stylistically different than his first two records. “This album combines sounds and styles in a way I never have before. Lyrically it also combines approaches in a new way.  It shifts from the personal to societal, direct to abstract and deals with loss and happiness equally. In the end though, it all fits together to form a cohesive album,” said Nolan. Catch John Nolan on tour in November supporting the release.
