RAYLAND BAXTER
Announces European live dates in October
New album ‘Wide Awake’ out now on ATO Records
Hot-on-the-heels of his recently released album Wide Awake and a comprehensive live schedule in the US over the past couple of months, Rayland Baxter is pleased to announce details of a European jaunt later this year.
Wide Awake sees Baxter take his subject matter the intensely personal through to acerbic social satire, lead track Casanova deals with relationships and debt, whilst looking inwards at the US with the 2016 Trump election in Strange American Dream and the nation’s gun fixation conveyed in 79 Shiny Revolvers. On a more personal note Baxter has, for the first time with Hey Larocco written about a crucial event in his life, one that consequently led him down the path to his current musician status.
With a touring history that includes shows with the likes of Jason Isbell, Kacey Musgraves, and The Lumineers, amongst others along with appearances at Bonnaroo and Newport Folk Festival, Rayland Baxter arrives in October and will be playing as follows:
Friday 5th October – Sidecar Factory Club, Barcelona, Spain
