Let’s Eat Grandma Share Baths Remix of “I Will Be Waiting”
Their critically acclaimed second album, I’m All Ears, is out now via Transgressive Records
Let’s Eat Grandma have shared LA-based electronic producer Baths’ remix of “I Will Be Waiting” via Earmilk. The original single was a beautiful meditation addressing matters of mental health, struggle and moments of clarity, which The New York Times lauded, stating that it “tested the limits of pop”. For the remix, Baths took the track in a more emotional direction, “sort of like taking a big step backwards from it. Letting the vocals dictate the feel for what I wanted to try.”
Let’s Eat Grandma’s exhilarating album, I’m All Ears is out now on Transgressive Records. The second act from the British teenage vocalists, multi-instrumentalists andsongwriters Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth has been met with universal acclaim, earning 5* reviews in Q and The Guardian, a top 30 UK chart position as well as nominations for Independent Album Of The Year and Best Sophomore Release at the AIM Awards. It is alive with furious pop, unapologetic grandeur, intimate ballads; with loops, Logic, outrageous 80s drum solos, as well as production from David Wrench, SOPHIE and Faris Badwan.
Following a performance at Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival, Let’s Eat Grandma are set to embark on a North American tour later this month and will be playing live around Europe as special guests to Chvrches in November.
