Following the success of their recent European tour, Wye Oak have announced a second UK run for this August.

To celebrate these new dates, as well as the kickoff of their US tour in North Carolina tonight, the band have shared a new music video for It Was Not Natural, one of the many sparkling moments from their new album ‘The Louder I Call, The Faster It Runs” (out now on Merge).

The clip was directed by Dan Huiting and accompanies a song Jenn Wasner describes as being about pulling the threads that hold the fabric of our world together.” She continues: “In our new video we have created a visual representation of a truth discovered in this process—that sometimes it is the most mundane things that are strangest of all.”

Tomorrow, Wye Oak’s set from Carrboro, NC, will be streamed live from the Wye Oak Facebook page beginning at 9:15pm ET (2:15am BST).

You can find the album on CD and LP in the Merge store, at your favorite independent record shop (where you might still be able to score a “sand and sky”-colored Peak Vinyl copy), or on your preferred digital listening service.
