Liverpool Duo Her’s Announce UK and EU dates
Originally a meeting of minds between Norway’s Audun Laading and Barrow-born Stephen Fitzpatrick, Her’s forged a strong chemical bond through a mutual love of off-kilter humour and outsider art. The pair started releasing music as Her’s and quickly developed a dedicated audience across the globe, living their dreams on a journey that has seen them cross oceans to air their irresistible slacker pop sound.
The pair’s fanbase rapidly expanded following a string of sold out shows nationwide, including their headline London show at Sebright Arms late last year, which sold out within a few weeks of tickets being on sale. Key appearances at Green Man, SXSW, The Great Escape and Visions have also helped their profile internationally.
The upcoming tour will see the duo playing their biggest London headline show to date at Moth Club in May, as well as airing their material to new audiences across the channel in France and The Netherlands.
As well as finding critical acclaim from the likes of Radio 1, 6 Music, DIY, The Guardian, Stereogum, NME, The Line of Best Fit and a wide array of Hype Machine tastemakers, last year’s collection of songs, ‘Songs of Her’s’ continues to reach a fast growing dedicated audience making Her’s one of the most exciting new indie bands in the UK right now. Their shows mark them as unpretentious, approachable, and highly entertaining, full of skits and often coming across like a comedy routine, in keeping with their oddball aesthetic.
While ‘Songs of Her’s’ made for the most complete introduction to their eccentric world yet, the duo are currently in thestudio hard at work on an LP proper, slated for release in the Autumn.
