NEW CIRCUIT DES YEUX SONG, “BLACK FLY”
REACHING FOR INDIGO INCOMING ON DRAG CITY OCT. 20TH

Circuit des Yeux‘s forthcoming album, Reaching For Indigo, encompasses and surpasses the musical journey of Haley Fohr’s previous output. An unparalleled piece of contemporary music, the album references a definitive moment in time that fell down on January 22nd, 2016, one that could be felt deep within the Earth’s atmosphere– and likely within multiple dimensions. That definitive moment is sure to resonate for a long time, cause Reaching for Indigo is an album reflecting an inward, emotive and cerebral vision so powerful, every living being with an ear that hears it will undoubtedly come closer than ever before to their own personal moment of transcendence.

The second song we’re sharing from it, “Black Fly,” is a sprawling epic. Transmitted by way of a deceptively sophisticated string guitar and featuring a cast of influential Chicago collaborators on synthesizer, strings, bass, mandolin and drums, “Black Fly” brings Haley’s four octave vocal range to the forefront, displayed with piercing emotion and an incisive unification of loss and independence.
