TERMINAL GODS

RELEASE NEW ALBUM ‘MERIDIAN’

London-based post-punks Terminal Gods today release their anticipated second album, ‘Meridian’, released via the band’s own Heavy Leather label.

Since forming in 2011 the band have self-released a countless string of singles and EPs culminating in the release of their celebrated debut album ‘Wave/Form’ last year. ‘Meridian’, however, is a departure from their previous recordings, focusing instead on the 80s soundtrack styles of John Carpenter and David Cronenberg.

Following cinematic success stories like Drive, It Follows and, of course, Stranger Things, there’s no shortage of bands mining similar territory, but what Terminal Gods bring to the fray is their now infamous knack for quality songwriting. These tracks are awash with sweeping synth, glorious feedback and dark tales of corporate conspiracy, political struggle and strange happenings.

With ‘Meridian’, Terminal Gods are cementing themselves as THE modern cult band, an as yet undiscovered gem with an endless back catalogue to discover. If you’re not signed up yet, why not start with ‘MERIDIAN’…
