Public Service Broadcasting Announce July In-Store Shows

Public Service Broadcasting have today announced that they will be playing four shows around the release of their upcoming third album Every Valley, due out 7th July. The band will play an album launch party at Kingston’s New Slang on the 6th July, followed by in-store performances at Bristol’s Rise on the 7th, Rough Trade Nottingham on the 10th and Rough Trade East on the 11th July. The shows offer the chance for fans to see the album live in a rare, intimate setting. For entry info please see links below.

Shining a light not just on the coal mining industry but the disenfranchised everywhere and set against a backdrop of industrial decline, Every Valley is a story of dignity and social responsibility.

The record sees J. Willgoose, Esq. take us on a journey down the mineshafts of the South Wales valleys, with the stories found there a black mirror to the plight of workers everywhere. The miners’ stories have been transposed into a 21st Century of ‘fake news’, populist politics and a total disregard for the voiceless.

In addition to these shows, PSB are set for a series of festival dates across Europe this summer, including a recently announced slot at Latitude Festival, as well as Festival No. 6 and support shows with The Flaming Lips in Birmingham and Hull.

Thursday 6 July – Banquet Records @ New Slang
Friday 7 July – RISE, Bristol
Monday 10 July – Rough Trade, Nottingham
Tuesday 11 July – Rough Trade East, London
