“It is an awful and ugly time, and if we are going to fight through it, a song like “Transmission” should remind, not relieve, us of that truth.” – PITCHFORK
“Pharmakon records are characterised by their excellent sound design, but in Contact Chardiet elevates her trademark percussion-heavy attack into something approaching the sublime.” LOUDER THAN WAR
“As captivating as it is horrifying…It’s this use of structure that lends itself to sonic growth and complexity, which sets it apart from so many other experiments in confrontational sound…powerful.” – CRACK

“It builds upon the work of Bestial Burden by corralling Pharmakon’s array of fascinating sounds into ever more dramatic structures and embedding within each track a conflict between approachability and abrasiveness that is exploited to extreme effect.” – WIRE
