Manchester all-female five-piece PINS have announced new single Aggrophobe, which will be the debut release from their forthcoming EP, and features a guest vocal from the legendary Iggy Pop.
Following the release of their acclaimed second album Wild Nights last year, PINS have been back in the studio and will be releasing a brand new EP soon. The debut track from the EP will be Aggrophobe featuring Iggy Pop. He says;
“I’ve got a session with a bunch of girls from Manchester called PINS. They sent me a good song and they’re looking for a narration in it, and I liked their music and their picture, so I’m doing that.”
The single is being released as a limited edition 7” yellow vinyl, numbered and signed by the band, with a B-side remix by fellow Mancunians Bernard & Edith. It can be pre-ordered from – Aggrophobe 7″ – and only 50 copies remain left to purchase.
The last two years have seen packed out touring schedules for the band, supporting the likes of Sleater-Kinney, Drenge, The Subways, Best Coast and most recently Honeyblood, aswell as perform their own headline gigs and shows at festivals including SXSW and Secret Garden Party. They have just announced a UK tour in April and tickets are on sale now. Full April tour dates are as follows:
