OOZING WOUND PREPARE TO TAKE THEIR WILDLY ENTERTAINING MISC METAL TO EUROPE IN NOVEMBER; NEW LP WHATEVER FOREVER OUT ON THRILL JOCKEY THIS WEEK
Chicago’s thrashing trio Oozing Wound are on the cusp of releasing their brand new LP, Whatever Forever, through Thrill Jockey, and European audiences can soon hear their most advanced riff obstacle course yet in the flesh as the band prepare for three weeks of live shows across the continent. Over a year has passed since their last excursion here, but the basis of their glorious appeal hasn’t – metal riffs that hit like crunching tackles, sizzling fuzz hypnotism and a real sense of fun mean that few people walk away from their sets unconverted.

Russell mixed the album and it was mastered by Heba Kadry at Timeless Mastering.
