UK tour this October & November 2016 with their biggest London show to date at The Forum on 1st November

New album, Brilliant Sanity, out now via Moshi Moshi

Live favourite, ‘Tangerine’ will be the next single from London based four-piece, Teleman. The track is taken from their critically acclaimed second album, Brilliant Sanity, which is available now via Moshi Moshi. Watch the video for the single, which has an impact date of 16th September 2016, below…

Director Andy West says of it, “The band wanted to shoot a performance video at the MOTH Club in Hackney – and they thought it would be fun if they were all playing the wrong instruments. The club has a bizarre mixture of local talent show glitz and military memorabilia, so I decided to create a tangerine themed magic trick as the catalyst. It was pretty close, but I think the tangerines gave the best performance on the night.”

“‘Tangerine’ is standout in its simplicity, introducing itself to you like you’ve always known each other”The Line Of Best Fit

Brilliant Sanity, the follow-up to Teleman’s acclaimed debut, Breakfast, was written in their Homerton studio and recorded in South London with producer, Dan Carey (Bat for Lashes, Kate Tempest, Nick Mulvey).

Now a four-piece made up of singer and guitarist Tommy Sanders, his brother Jonny on synths, Pete Cattermoul on bass and Hiro Amamiya on drums, the process of touring has honed Teleman into a spectacular live act and brought about the decision to record the new record in a very live and spontaneous way.

The art of songwriting has been the driving force behind Brilliant Sanity, the process of crafting of the immaculate pop song, the dogged pursuit of the perfect hook. The result is an album that appears fastidiously and impeccably made, but also charged with joy.
