Westing consists of a well known figure to Circuit Sweet, Matt Mascarenas, also known for his work in Heartless Breakers and Daytrader. Whatever musical project Matt touches and puts his all into, that project thrives, the ideas flow, the passion and the talent will always shine within his work. And his latest act is no different. The indie band hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, are onto big things and we urge you to check them out.
Since Westing was announced last year, Matt has released a couple of acoustic splits & singles, this month Matt has unveiled the next step for Westing, his first full band track which was featured on Ronald Records compilation ‘Ronald Records Is A Secret Society‘.
Westing is a new projection for Matt, a more progressive, fuller sounding act, it’s aggressive yet compelling and once again this act have created something that is not only addictive but leaves you begging to hear more. Westing’s new track ‘Subtle Hints‘ captivates, hit play and listen in full below.
The track is featured on what we can only describe as a must hear compilation. July 1st, Ronald Records unveiled a meaningful and one of the best compiled compilations we’ve heard in a long time.
The first in Ronald Records‘ new series of ‘Secret Society’ benefit compilations, from which all proceeds will be donated to the OneOrlando fund. The album features 25-tracks from all artists on the label’s roster, including The World Is a Beautiful Place and I am No Longer Afraid to Die, Stepbrothers, Paper Space and more.
All of the proceeds raised from the Ronald Records is a Secret Society compilation will be donated to the OneOrlando Fund which provides much needed support to the victims of the Pulse tragedy and their families. Donations can also be made at the link below:
