Circuit Sweet Interview, Feature, News

July 19, 2016

Every year we look forward to what we believe is the greatest UK festival for all those that love anything experimental, mathy, instrumental and that bit different- of course we are talking about ArcTanGent!
When the whole line up for the festival is finally published, more great things arise from the must see festival- tours! With Arc bringing across and booking some huge bands from all over the world, tours are then announced before and after arc, surrounding the festival, with some of the talented acts travelling afar to get to the UK and show Fernhill Farm what they’re about, these acts make the most of their time by announcing some must see shows- and we are thrilled to announce that friends of Circuit Sweet, theatrical instrumental duo Space Blood are returning to the UK live scene.

Space Blood are no strangers to the site, consisting of William Covert on Drums and Sam Edgin on Bass. Together the pair combine their creativity to create an explosive melodic fusion of Math Rock, experimental, energetic instrumentation. Fusing their punk ethics with strong DIY roots results in a certain impetuous attentiveness found in Space Blood.

The duo are an act you need to fully embrace, their audaciousness and compelling compositions leave you wanting more as you are drawn into their own unique magnetic force field. The attentive duo entice listeners, watchers, fans and you can’t help but absorb all things SB. For their forthcoming ‘Brentrance to the UK’ tour, the pair have teamed up with the loveable  and extremely talented trio Chiyoda Ku to create utter chaos with whilst they’re both on the road. Full dates below.
