Oozing Wound Covers Star Trek, Rambo, Global Warming on New Album WHATEVER FOREVER — Out 14th October

Whatever Forever is a horrifying concoction of apathy and malaise wrapped in a delectable sheet of hatred, drowned in a bath of contempt. A culmination of nihilism and the belief that taking anything too seriously is a guarantee it’ll suck. Great for parties, ask your caterer for details!

That’s right, Chicago’s Oozing Wound went back to the plant and reformulated a new batch of ooze so potent it had to be spread over three (!) sides of vinyl. You want fast sh*t? You want slow sh*t? You want weird sh*t? F**k yeah, you do, and Oozing Wound’s Whatever Forever has it all.

Oozing Wound spent four days getting a studio tan at Minbal Studios in Chicago to record the new album with recording engineer Matt Russell, which is four times as long as it took the band to record its 2013 debut Retrash. Whatever Forever will be released with a mini-comic by Oozing Wound’s artist companion Sam Nigrosh (who also designed the excellent cover art).

Oozing Wound’s stoner-tinged, good-humored thrash metal has earned them praise fromPitchfork, Terrorizer, Metal Hammer, Vice, The Quietus, The Guardian, Decibel, Mojo, Q Magazine among others.

Their third album Whatever Forever is out 14th October.
