HEADLINE MOTH CLUB SINGLE RELEASE SHOW ON 17TH JUNE

“A dark and grimy take on dancefloor destined pop.” DIY

“A constantly evolving world ready to be lost in. There’s every sense that this group is about to explode.” The Line Of Best Fit

Peckham five-piece Sweat have announced their new single Acid Rainbowreleased through Meno Records, alongside a headline performance at The Moth Club, on 17th June.

With the release of the darkly synth-laden Be Complete and the dreamily ironic B-Side Tambourine earlier this year, Sweat have astounded and intrigued in equal measure. New single Acid Rainbow is set to spiral the listener further into their unique musical world. Acid Rainbow is a warped psych-pop anthem, mixing outward baggy swagger and temptatious ‘90s house to build to an alluringly euphoric chorus backed by futuristic synths.

The band say; “Acid Rainbow is a weird window into the lives of two lovers and their last day. A vision of a world in collapse, driven by relentless groove and apocalyptic synths.”

The video for Acid Rainbow, which follows suit with the band’s low-fi yet mesmerizing video for Be Complete, shows a live performance in the most unique of nightclubs, constructed ingeniously into a post-apocalyptic vision, and will premiere soon.

Having already supported Swim Deep and sold out a handful of London headline performances, Sweat will be bringing their captivatingly energetic live show to The Moth Club to launch new single Acid Rainbow on 17th June. This is a band who are a must see live.

Sweat are Dante (singer), Gamaliel (keys), David (bass), Joe (guitar) and Matt (drums).
