Deathbomb Arc’s Girl Pusher share “A Lot of Boys Like Me Though” video

“…the type of music that makes you want to burn down your house and take up life on the road.” – The 405; single of the week

Future punks Girl Pusher scorch their way through audiences everywhere they go lately. As likely to be thrown onto a warehouse rave party as an backyard punk show as an underground hip hip night, they do nothing but defy expectation. And loudly. No guitars, just live drums, electronic drums, and vocals. Simple. Streamlined. And brutal.

Their new video… not quite a music video, rather a fashion video, for lead single “A Lot of Boys Like Me Though” from their recent EP ‘Dont Die’ centres on a performative interpretation from Los Angeles poet Kris Kidd. It is as stark and raw as one would hope from Girl Pusher, with director Ben Cope providing brutal lighting to make sure their is nothing to hide. Just like Girl Pusher’s approach to emotional truth.
