Eastbourne pop punks ROAM will release their debut album ‘Backbone’ via Hopeless Records on 22ndJanuary, 2016 and they’ve now revealed a second song ’Hopeless Case’ from the record along with accompanying music video, which they shot in Las Vegas and surrounding areas during their current US co-headline tour with Handguns.

Alex Adam (Guitar/Vocals) explains the clip – “The idea behind the Hopeless Case video was really a play on the chorus lyrics “You lose this time” – we thought it’d be fun to shoot a backroom style poker game and incorporate footage from Vegas and the surrounding desert. The song is really about false pretenses. Once we’d decided on our characters we went all out on the costumes and just had fun with it. The desert scenes were actually shot in a place called Fire Valley national park on top of a natural arch which was definitely a highlight.”

ROAM have also announced an intimate hometown show to celebrate their album’s release on 23 January. Only 100 tickets will be available for the special night and they will go on sale Tuesday, 15thDecember at 9am from

Saturday 23rd Jan 2016 – Printers Playhouse, Eastbourne. Doors at 7pm. Tickets £7.

The release show in January precedes ROAM’s slot on the (now completely sold out) Kerrang! Tour 2016 which will see them play alongside Sum 41, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Biters in February.

‘Backbone’ follows ROAM’s ‘Viewpoint’ EP which was released earlier in 2015. The album was produced, engineered and mixed by Drew Lawson at Steel City Studios with additional engineering by Phil Gornell and mastering by Grant Berry. Rian Dawson of All Time Low recorded Matt Wilson’s guest vocal part at his studio in California. The first single to be unveiled from the record was the rabble-rousing ‘Deadweight’ for which came with an epic music video.
