outgoing and ambitious in scope — decidedly big, boldfaced pop with a heavy melancholy streak.”  Stereogum

London quartet Hugh recently launched “Learn To Fall”, a spectacular slice of sophisticated electronic pop and now they unveil the counterpart to that track,  “Almost Done,  Almost There,  another incredible showcase of the bands talent which further cements their status as one of the brightest new talents on the musical landscape.

Comprising the quartet of vocalists Joshua Idehen and Izzy Brooks as well as Tino Kolarides on guitar and producer Andy Highmore, Hugh create dreamily atmospheric tunes which are as lush as they are minimal, swoonsome as they are elegant. Their debut EP “I Can’t Figure You Out” created the initial buzz, capturing the attention of Huw Stephens and Annie Mac among others,  and “Learn to Fall”  consolidated this,  being championed by the likes of Diploe and Alunageorge. With Charlie Hugall (Florence and the Machine, The Maccabees) at the helm, both “Learn To Fall” and “ Almost Done,  Almost There”  are simultaneously emotive and evocative, with the beautifully contrasting vocals of Izzy and Josh given space to lead in ways which exhibit truly distinctive styles and delivery.

Learn To Fall is available now, across all platforms,  with Almost Done, Almost There available on 13th November.
