Following the release of their critically acclaimed third album “Deep In The Iris”earlier in the year and a US tour throughout the summer, Braids begin their EU tour today, encompassing shows across the UK including London’s iconic Scala. They also launch the video for “Bunny Rose”, shot by the acclaimed animator Stephen McNally who is part of the highly regarded production house Blink, watch here.
The three-piece experimental pop band from Montreal decamped to a series of retreats in the mountains of Arizona, Vermont, and upstate New York to record“Deep In The Iris”. Surrounded by nature in all its warm vitality, the longtime bandmates strove to shed the fabric of their day to day relationships, being bare and vulnerable before one another. What resulted is Deep In The Iris, their strongest record to date – powerful, yet fragile; immaculately sculpted, but deeply human. Sounding even more dynamic in a live setting, be sure not to miss out.
