To celebrate the release of new single ‘Dissolve’, WENNINK has shared the videos for lead track ‘Dissolve’ and its B-side ‘Broken Bits and Pieces’.
‘Broken Bits and Pieces’ is a whirling techno-infused track that showcases the diverse talents of WENNINK; the accompanying video is directed by Teleman’s Jonny Sanders.
Additionally, WENNINK is giving away a free download of ‘Used To It’, another stunning slice of fragile, piano-synth electronica cut from the same cloth as ‘Dissolve’.
WENNINK is the London-based singer and writer Oliver Wennink and dance producer DJ Matt Allaby. After meeting producer Allaby whilst working in neighbouring Brixton studios, the two began a natural and collaborative music-making process. Additionaly mixing on ‘Dissolve’ and ‘Broken Bits and Pieces’ by John Monkman (Get Physical) and available to buy here.
Influenced by Thom Yorke, Four Tet and Antony and the Johnsons, WENNINK layers glitchy percussion, spacious ambience and beautifully rich vocals underpinned by melancholy.
