Due Out in 2016
East Coast Tour Dates Announced
The Vinyl District are sharing the premiere of the “British Monuments” music video, a blend of live and found footage that warps and reverses with the song’s shifting sonic landscape. Speaking about the song and it’s video, TVD shared, “The hardworking band is seen almost abstractly sawing away in super high contrast until they slowly come to focus as the music intensifies in the Craig Knapp-directed clip—its shards of dueling guitars by Michael J. Wane and Mark Ford in tight interplay as bassist Brandon Tuckerand drummer Erik Conn bash it out in a way that can’t be ignored.”
Magnet School have kept active since their last release, playing shows throughout the southern US including support for Shiner, …Trail of Dead, and Ume among others as well as a UK tour. It’s been a long time coming, but the wait for new music from the Austin shoegaze stalwarts is almost over. Magnet School have returned.
