November 2015 UK Tour Dates w/ We Are The Ocean + Tall Ships

– November 2015 Headline Leeds show

Ahead of appearing at Warped Tour UK this weekend, ALLUSONDRUGS are pleased to announce they will release a new EP titled ‘Am I Weird?’ onFriday 23rd October. The EP will be available to purchase on limited edition CD and via digital download from a select number of UK record stores, and can be preordered now at http://www.allusondrugs.com

On the live front, the band tonight finish a short co-headline tour with fellow Yorkshiremen Brawlers, before heading out again in November supporting We Are The Ocean for a run of shows. The band will also play a one-off, near-as-dammit “hometown” headline show in Leeds on Friday 27th November and a Save The Children charity event in Liverpool on 4th November. Dates and ticket links for the all shows can be found below, and tickets are on sale now.

At the tail end of 2014, the Yorkshire-born-and-bred 5-piece were out on the road with Marmozets and Lonely The Brave. To coincide with that, they released a DIY video for the painfully autobiographical (for many of us!) ‘I Should Have Gone To Uni’. In early 2015, the band went out on tour as special guests of Enter Shikari. By way of celebrating on that occasion, they released a video for a track called ‘Am I Weird?’ – yet again highlighting the band’s fiercely DIY aesthetic, the video was shot by them and a friend in their rehearsal space.

Fast-forward to now(-ish) and, following a summer of 2015 packed with festival appearances, Allusondrugs recently unveiled the trippy video for a track named‘Sunset Yellow’, and then immediately afterwards also released a 7” single with the good folks at Too Pure Singles Club entitled ‘Magic College’ / ‘Her Crown’.

As busy as they’ve been to date, all this disparate activity was scratching at the edges of the band’s collective OCD, so a decision was made to compile all these internet-based and plastic-confined beauties into one old fashioned silver disc, as well as making the tracks available digitally and on streaming services worldwide.

An even more limited edition pre-order bundle version of the EP comes with a bonus DIY hand-painted-sleeve CD featuring four different versions of ‘Sunset Yellow’. Allusondrugs previous hand-painted releases are now all long gone and much-sought-after, and this is the first they’ve done for a while.

‘Am I Weird’ is released Friday 23rd October 2015

ALLUSONDRUGS so far:

Allusondrugs formed in the summer of 2012. Since then, their very individual take on a melding of psych-pop-shoegaze-grunge has caught the eyes and ears of the likes of KerrangRock Sound and Radio One, as well as live audiences across the UK.

Late 2014 / early 2015 saw the band beginning to build a solid fan-base following high-profile support tours and shows with Enter ShikariMarmozetsLonely The Brave and Pulled Apart By Horses. An extensive period of headline touring through April / May 2015 and a packed festival season across the summer has only seen the buzz continue to build.
