Sweet Billy Pilgrim reveal the video for ‘Slingshot Grin’‏

Sweet Billy Pilgrim have unveiled a dramatic short film for ‘Slingshot Grin’, taken from the highly praised new album Motorcade Amnesiacs out now on Kscope.

Directed by acclaimed TV and film director Julian Simpson, and featuring a host of British TV talent including Indria Varma (Games Of Thrones/Luther), Don Gilet (Eastenders/Holby City), Tracy Whitwell (Caualty), Nicola Stephenson (Safe House) and Colin Tierny (Silent Witness), alongside Sweet Billy Pilgrim’s very own Tim Elsenberg and Jana Carpenter, the video explores fractured relationships as the heartfelt song builds from bluesy declamations to a euphoric fanfare of horns and strings.

In support of the album release, Sweet Billy Pilgrim head out on a major headline tour this week. Kicking off at Manchester’s Ruby Lounge tomorrow (Sept 2^nd), the band will play 11 shows across the country, which finishes at the Ramsbottom Festival on September 20^th.
