“Dissatisfaction and boredom cause trouble,” say Pink Film. In this case, ‘Trouble’ is 4 minutes of infectious melodies, psychedelic guitars and raw energy.

Fresh from headlining The Shacklewell Arms last night, London quartet Pink Film are pleased to announce their new single ‘Trouble’ – due Oct 2nd, it will be backed by B-side ‘Rubber’.

The single was recorded with sonic-sorcerer Shuta Shinoda and features an impromptu sax addition from a Parisian jazz prodigy who happened to be recording in the other studio.

Since releasing their debut single ‘Gut Wrench’, Pink Film have played The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City, supported the likes of Hinds (who’ve handpicked them to support three times) and Spring King, quickly earning themselves a reputation as one of the most exciting bands to come out of the capital.

Pink Film cut a pretty arresting figure as a quartet; they are Ziyad Al-Samman (singer/guitar), Frank Styles (bass), Laurence Hammerton (guitar) and Danny Brooks (drums).
