Nova Twins set to be the first release on Robomagic

Bassline B*tch Unleashed on September 11th on Robomagic

Urban Punk outfit, Nova Twins, are set to hit the scene with their debut – ‘Bassline B*tch’. The first release from the hotly tipped duo will immediately make you understand why acclaimed live promoter Rob Hallett has signed Amy Love (vocal/guitar) and Georgia South (bass/backing vocal) to his newly formed 360 music company, Robomagic, making them his first release in the early Autumn of 2015.

Set to follow in the recent success of other duos such as Slaves and Royal Blood, Nova Twins are pioneering a sound, bringing edgy vocals and dirty bass into the mainstream. It might sound surprising that such disparate genres can fuse so easily together, but these girls have got it ON POINT.

The video sums up everything great about these two girls from Lewisham and Grays. With no big budgets to waste on bad ideas, Amy and Georgia kept everything live and DIY. The video took them only half an hour to create, jumping out of a car in the back streets of Deptford with their camera phones running, finding dirty garages to use as the backdrop for their one take video before being chased out by the irate owners.

Their music and attitude highlights everything Rob Hallett, the man who founded AEG Live in the UK, loves about music….passion, raw energy and killer bass lines.

Word is spreading quickly since their recent Robomagic signing. Artrocker described the band as –

Too awesome for words: too current for this time zone, too scary for your boyfriend and too cool for the cool kids.”

Kerrang! Radio, Alex Baker – Fresh Blood:‘’Creating a genre of their own… with vocals as sharp as the busted windows of an East London derelict factory and basslines that Bruno Mars’ bassist would be proud of. These guys have got it all.’’

Support from BBC Introducing – Tom Robinson 6 Music, BBC London, BBC Essex and BBC Three Counties

Nova Twins are made for the stage – in front of an audience is when things get really electrifying, Amy and Georgia are totally mesmeric. The music is led by Georgia’s futuristic, thunderous bass, while Amy’s unique rockin’ yowl captivates the ear with fiery lyrics. Joined live by band mate Tim Nugent on drums this is the sound of 21st century RnR, truly pushing the boundaries.

But that’s not all. The girls’ creative talents are by no means limited to their music. With a deep love of fashion, the pair invest their free time in making and customizing clothes –  D.I.Y bespoke creations to wear on stage.

“We instantly feel at home with Rob and the Robomagic team, it’s great to be a part of a unit that genuinely have the artists best interest at heart – we are really excited for the future – watch this space!”   –  Nova Twins

“When the Nova Twins arrived in all their snarling glory on my Facebook page I thought to myself, this I have to see.Combining my love of punk rock, hip hop and live music, The Nova Twins are the true independent women of their generation and they can play!!”Rob Hallett

Nova Twins are currently recording numerous tracks, working towards further releases over the next six-twelve months – watch this space for more details…
