Nothing But Thieves announced as next Vevo Lift act – as voted by fans
Vevo have today announced that Nothing But Thieves are the FIFTH act to feature in its 2015 LIFT series – as voted for by fans.
A fan vote was held over the last two weeks to establish the final LIFT artist of the year, and Nothing But Thieves beat off stiff competition from Lion Babe, Kygo and Bonkaz, with amazing support from their fans across their social platforms.
From 28th September for 8 weeks the band will deliver interviews, exclusive performances and behind the scenes looks into their world, as they get ready to release their debut album next month.
Nothing But Thieves said; “Well would you look at that… Just found out we won the Vevo LIFT Fan Vote! Incredible. Thanks to everyone who voted, you really are good to us!”
Essex five piece Nothing But Thieves will release their debut album on 16th October through RCA Records. Championed by Radio 1, they’ve toured with the likes of Muse, George Ezra, Arcade Fire and Twin Atlantic and have just launched their new single ‘Wake Up Call’.
Vevo LIFT UK launched in 2011 as a way of celebrating new talent and introducing emerging artists to music fans. This year so far has seen James Bay, Years & Years, Wolf Alice and Little Simz give an insight into their worlds with behind-the-scenes access to their tours and shows, video premieres, and unique performances. Vevo LIFT has featured some of the biggest acts in the music including Bastille, 5 Seconds of Summer, Lorde, Disclosure, Sam Smith and The 1975.
