“Aural red meat that would cause the likes of The Black Keys to salivate with jealousy.”  – Q Magazine

“Black Sabbath and Kyuss style robo-riffery!” NME

TIJUANA BIBLES mix grunge-based riffs, groove laden rhythms and heavy traces of swampy Louisiana blues.

2014 saw the release of TIJUANA BIBLES debut ‘Wild River’ EP, the “energising” [XFM], “explosive” [Clash] single ‘Crucifixion’ and the free download ‘Toledo’, “a cajun-spiced stoner grooves that would match the soaring heat of a Louisiana summer” [Q magazine].

Now TIJUANA BIBLES return with a brand new single GHOST DANCE, taken from the 4-track GHOST / DANCE / MOVEMENT EP, both released digitally on 4 Sept.

TIJUANA BIBLES are known for their live sets “as thrillingly dangerous as the Mexican drug cartel town of their name” [T in the Park Festival].  In the last 18 months that’ve sold out Glasgow’s infamous King tuts, appeared at T in the Park (two years running),  Wickerman, Belladrum and Isle of Wight festivals, supported Deap Valley, The Alabama 3 and The View and toured the Scottish highlands, en route to Sold Out shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow.

The band have now  announced a extensive European tour throughout Sept-Oct, beginning with a show at Oran Mor in their home city of Glasgow:

Saturday 5 September: Oran Mor, Glasgow

Thursday 15 October: The Old Firestation, Carlisle

Friday 16 October:  This Feeling Clubnight, Leeds

Saturday 17 October: Factory 241, Manchester

More UK dates including a London show to be announced soon.
