Jake Morley returns with perfect summer tune

Harking back to his much-played debut single, ‘Feet Don’t Fail Me Now’, Jake Morley is back with the perfect summer track to jolt you out of your August lethargy.

This is 2 mins 48 seconds of intelligent song-writing cleverly disguised as a summer pop song.

“When I heard that he was back with a new single, I didn’t know what to do with myself I was that excited!” One Stop Record Shop

‘Allegorical House’ kicks off with a mellow intro that quickly develops into an upbeat choir chorus driven by sparkly guitars and a warm piano, underpinned by a sexy bass line and rolling percussion, all culminating in a euphoric play out. Production by Grammy nominated producer Calum MacColl and mixing by Calum Malcolm (The Blue Nile) allows Morley’s emotional lyrics and strong composition to shine through.

“Stands out on his own with a unique depth and style to his music … Morley is making waves in the music industry.”  Planet Stereo
“Morley has a natural talent for blending Ben Howard–esque virtuoso acoustic picking and a line in sway-along balladry withBear’s Den’s rich instrumental component.” Indie London

Morley’s highly anticipated 2nd album, ‘The Manual’, is due for release at the beginning of 2016. Currently on pre-order at Pledge Music, there are some unusual bonuses on offer including creating a ‘Jake Morley Signature Brew Beer’, a chance to walk Jake’s dog Mango, lap-tapping guitar lessons and original artwork from his first album ‘Many Fish To Fry’.

“Excellent lyrics are blended with the building, sumptuous production. Roll on the new album.” Indie Music Mag
