SALEM WOLVES

PREMIERE NEW SINGLE:

“MORE WEIGHT!”

Listen now on Vanyaland!

Garage poppers Salem Wolves have released their new single
More Weight!available now for streaming on Vanyaland and streaming in full below.

The follow-up to their lauded debut EP Black Books (2015 Megahex Records) finds the Witch City rockers celebrating the life, persecution, and brutal demise of Salem’s own Giles Corey with their brand of “leather-clad, surfed-up, sandpaper rock.”  A model of the New England obstinacy, Corey’s final words of “More Weight!” serve as a rallying cry for the Wolves who (by their own admission) are “too stupid to die.”

“More Weight!”, along with its B-side “Teenage Wonder” (to be released in August), was recorded in Hanging Horse Studio, mixed by Shaun Curran (Sarah Borges, Soft Pyramids) and makes its exclusive debut at Vanyaland.  It will be available as a digital download at all live dates.

Emerging from the fertile Boston indie scene, Salem Wolves were born in the cold New England winter of 2014, releasing Black Books in January of 2015.  The band features the howls and grimy guitars of Gray Salem, lead bass riffing by Harrison Isaac Salem, capped by the primal thud of Woodrow Salem on drums. Touring relentlessly, they have shared the stage with national acts Crocodiles, July Talk, Shark Week, Archie Powell and the ExportsThe Devil’s Twins, and many more.
