What others are saying about Funeral Advantage:

“Funeral Advantage’s sound isn’t as dour as its name suggests, and ‘Body Is Dead’ already sounds like an ideal soundtrack to late summer.”- Stereogum

“…stirs emotions with reverb-soaked hooks…”- Boston Globe

“There is a fine line between dream-pop gold and listlessness, but Funeral Advantage has slipped into the ideal state of reverie..”- Noisey

“It’s shoegaze drowned in a sea of reverb… but there’s sweet pop melodies under all that haze…”- Brooklynvegan

More info:

After two years, and multiple EPs and split releases,Funeral Advantage is finally here with a debut full-length album. Titled after the 10-minute long closing track, Body Is Dead serves as an excellent introduction to indie/ dream-pop of Tyler Kershaw, and an even better continuation of his past work. Following on the heels of his most popular release, in the split 7″ with Former Ghosts, Body Is Dead incorporates many of the electronic and indie rock elements of that release, but infuses a deeper semblance of pop. This collection of 10 new songs is without a doubt the catchiest and dreamiest thus far.

Pre-order Body Is Dead on any of the following formats:

– Limited Edition 12″LP (Dirt Maroon and Black variants)
– Tape (Domestic, and Imported Japanese Pressing)
– MP3
– Bundles (including every single Funeral Advantage release thus far)
