Last year we had the pleasure in introducing you to Carnival Youth.

The Latvian quartet consist of Edgars Kaupers, Roberts Vanags, Aleksis Luriņš and Emīls Kaupers. Carnival Youth are currently proving unstoppable, an act soon to be a household name. If your household loves flawless indie creations. Carnival Youth capture such an uplifting essence within their orchestrations, the band simply motivate the listener and that’s a rewarding skill to have.

The Latvian indie pop teenagers Carnival Youth are just days away from the release of their delectable must hear debut album ‘No Clouds Allowed’. Which will be released here in the UK on July 10th, following the recent release of their single ‘Traffic Lights’ on 6th July. With one hell of a year already under the belt for this band and having performed across Europe within the last 12 months. Carnival Youth are quickly gaining an enviable fan base. With UK media support backing this act, ourselves included, Carnival Youth are about to reap the rewards of their highly anticipated monumental release.

No Clouds Allowed captures the perfect indie-pop feel, the 11 track album is powerful from start to finish. Their work fuses a folk essence with an upbeat indie vibe. With intricate instrumentation and a brooding vocalist which lulls the listener deep within each composition, this album is a solid effort. To listen to the record you can hear influences from the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Noah and The Whale and Mystery Jets, but Carnival Youth are making their own legacy and rightfully so.

We urge you to listen to this album, it belongs in your collection.
