NOTHING BUT THIEVES unveil new single ‘Trip Switch’
‘Trip Switch’ is available now on iTunes :: http://smarturl.it/TripSwitchiTunes
Headline London show on 8th July upgraded to The Dome, Tufnell Park :: TICKETS
Having received its first play on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show last night, Nothing But Thieves’ new single ‘Trip Switch’ can now be heard online here. The single comes hot on the heels of the band’s storming support slot on Young Guns’ recent UK tour and the news that they’ve had to upgrade their forthcoming headline show in London to The Dome in Tufnell Park due to phenomenal demand after mere minutes of it being on sale. It’s set to be quite a summer for Nothing But Thieves as they blaze their own trail on the European Festival circuit including highly anticipated slots at Reading and Leeds festivals in August.
Hailing from Southend, Nothing But Thieves’ music is at once thunderous yet delicate, raw yet methodical, evoking the profound dynamics of music’s more creative imaginations. Forming at school, the band was soon spending time traveling in the US looking for inspiration before returning to the UK with a much clearer vision on the sound they wanted. Epic guitars and rippling synths highlight a thrilling, forward-thinking band with influences ranging from Led Zeppelin to Radiohead to Jeff Buckley and with lyrics patched together from flashes of inspiration and stimulated by the works of Bukowski and Crowley fused to mighty sonics.
Look out for their debut album on RCA Records later this year.
