Aussie garage-pop bruisers Animal House have unveiled the new video for their single ‘Figure It Out’, released May 25th. The clip see’s the band attempt to take on Brighton’s scariest roller derby team, the Brighton Rockers – the results are… well, at least they tried…

Animal House’s Jack Nielsen says: “I thought it’d be fun to do a video of us playing roller derby, I don’t remember what sparked it. One night, straight after I suggested the idea to Will in a pub, a girl I’m friends with came in wearing roller derby clothes. So it was just fate really – it had to be done. Animal House vs Brighton Rockers was on.”

The band have been making waves in the UK since uprooting from Brisbane to the Brighton coast last year. With praise from NME, DIY, Clash and BBC Introducing, as well as shows alongside Courtney Barnett, The Preatures and Splashh, the band are honing their infectious rock ’n’ roll debauchery as they prepare for their first EP release.

‘Figure It Out’ is released on May 25th. Animal House have upcoming live shows, including a special show in Brighton over The Great Escape festival alongside Menace Beach, Bloody Knees, Sunflower Bean, Yung and more.
