Shy For Shore Announce EP ‘One More Life’ and Stream Title Track

Shy for Shore’s unparalleled spectrum of sad pop returns with even more punch in their latest EP One More Life. The duo have already stormed the Scandi Pop scene, and their latest offering is set to overdrive, as spiraling synths swirl around the punching, dream cast melodies in title track, One More Life.

Aside from the pop anthem that is One More Life, SFS’s latest release will include the runaway success previous singles Love, Again and Steal my Car plus new offering FAM. Both of  the former garnered critical acclaim from NME, The Line of Best Fit, Indie Shuffle, Wonderland, Notion and a huge number of Hype Machine blogs.

Together for three years (having formed after a chance encounter at Camden’s Roundhouse) Shy for Shore perfected their art through countless live performances and are now pouncing, fully formed onto a salivating world. And One More Life marks a huge step in their history, as it’s released two years (to the day) after their first offering Then the Heartbreak, which the duo took to live television, radio and was even featured in Norwegian Indie movie To Bury a Dog

One More Life takes the best of its predecessors but marches further, pushing the limits of electro pop, well into the vocabulary of today’s dance anthems. But something bittersweet inexplicably remains, as Shy for Shore describe the conclusive moments of a relationship and present them as the final moments of life in a video game.

Despite retaining the principal trademark that Shy For Shore are becoming loved for, One More Life seems to battle through into something new for the pair, as they prepare for even more demand from the wider music world.

They wonderfully thread the eye of pensive synth yet they still retain a foundation of sanguine and resolute determination. Melancholic pop can pierce the soul in a way that nothing else can; poignant with a relentless ache yet grasping unrequited expectation and joy, and Shy For Shore do it perfectly.

Having supported the likes of Grammy nominated Highasakite and Lindstrom in 2013, Shy For Shore are to headline Dalston’s Birthdays on 8th April. Tickets are available below.
