La Dispute are set to return to the UK in a matter of weeks to take on their biggest headline show in this country to date at London’s Koko on 26th May, co-headlining with F*cked Up, as well as having a number of other live dates across Europe plotted.
The evocative aesthetic of the quartet was encapsulated in the band’s latest chapter – third album ‘Rooms of The House’, which was released last year to critical acclaim. Staunchly independent, La Dispute chose to release the record through their own label Better Living, in conjunction with renowned indie Big Scary Monsters in the UK. A new purple marble vinyl variant of ‘Rooms of The House’, limited to 500 copies and exclusive to the UK, has just been released and is in stores now and available to order here – bsmrocks.com/shop.
La Dispute recently unveiled a cover version of Nirvana’s ‘Polly’ which is featured on US indie label Robotic Empire’s Record Store Day release ‘Whatever Nevermind’. The covers album comprises re-imaginations of the tracks on ‘Nevermind’ by bands such as Torche, Cave-In and Nothing.
