Twerps announce European tour & premiere ‘Stranger’ video on DIY!

“If ever there was a record to break winter’s cold snap and beckon the glorious warmth of Spring, then ‘Range Anxiety’ is it – full of brilliant sunbursts that’ll have the windows rolled down in no time at all.”  DIY

“The band expertly layers in dream pop guitars, chunky bass, and steady percussion, methodically upping the volume and tempo second by second.”  Consequence of Sound

“This Melbourne quartet are wilier than you might think, with a sharp sense of melody and more than a few tricks up their frayed sleeves.”  Pitchfork

“A bit jangly, a bit shambling, with shades of the 60s via C86, with a little Flying Nun flavour.”  The Guardian

“I Don’t Mind,” sounds like a flashback to the slack, shambling, lo-fi glimmer-jangle of some of the best mid-’90s indie rock.   Stereogum

“They pull off charming pop that sounds tender and thrilling at the same time.”  Paste Magazine

“Let it never be said that indie rock is dead with bands like Twerps around.”   PopMatters
Twerps released their Merge full-length debut Range Anxiety earlier this month and today they premiere the whimsical video for “Stranger.” on DIY.   Featuring claymation and some well-trained ants, the “Stranger” video will have you longing for warmer weather.   The band has also added European dates to their spring tour blitz.
