Yorkshire Post-Hardcore Metal, Outfit, Story, have released the first single, Father Forgotten, which is from their Debut EP, The Divide.
Father Forgotten, is driven with strong vocals from front-man Bill Hobson, and the bands melodic sound, and post-hardcore and metal tones, creating a powerful song about isolation, not only from others but from themselves, with the encouragement for young people to believe that, ‘this is not forever’, both through the lyrics and the track title, using the word, Father, as a metaphor for a person who have inflicted pain on them, creating this emotional state.

Story is a 5 piece Post-Hardcore Metal band from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, in England. Taking influences from Memphis May Fire, Young guns and their local scene. Their music brings powerful, melodic choruses and heart touching lyrics from their frontman Bill Hobson. They have had the privileges of sharing stages with Tek-One, Qemists, ACODA, Shields, Silent Screams, The Call Back Academy and Summerlin, and they have also Headlined some of Sheffield’s most well known music venues such as O2 Academy and Corporation. 2015 see the release of their Debut EP, The Divide, which is supported with a packed touring Schedule seeing Story, playing live across the UK and touching base in Europe for the first time.
