FIZZI SUNDAYS PRESENTS ST DAVID’S DAY FESTIVAL

St David’s Day | Dydd Gŵyl Dewi

Sunday 1 March 2015 | Dydd Sul 1 Mawrth 2015
Fizzi Events are pleased to announce a new multi-venue festival taking place on St David’s Day to mark the launch of Fizzi Sundays; a new regular SUNDAY event at Four Bars and Dempsey’s featuring live music, DJs and other performing artists.
Fizzi Events Director, Seth Oliver, said: “Fizzi Sundays, St.David’s Day Festival will bring together so many great artists, and musicians from across South Wales and the surrounding areas, performing in a selection of venues along Womanby Street. Cardiff is a hot bed for live music at the moment and we’re hoping to showcase some of our current favourite acts. It’s an opportunity to express our love for the local live music scene, and with a wide range of different genres we’re hoping there’s a little something for everyone. St.Davids day is such a standout date in the Welsh diary that it’s seemed very apt to launch the festival on the 1st March.”
Venues on Womanby Street include:
Four Bars, Dempsey’s, Clwb Ifor Bach, The Full Moon, The Moon Club and Fuel.
Among the artists confirmed for the festival are Caldicot folk roots act RUSTY SHACKLE, garage band KEYS and THREATMANTICS. Llanelli’s indie pop 4-piece CUT RIBBONS will also perform, along with punk trio KUTOSIS, ska band BENEATH THE REEF and many more.
Tickets for the full day can be purchased in advance for £6 from Spillers Records, WeGotTickets.com and SeeTickets.com. Tickets may also be purchased on the day for £8.
