 Following on from their hugely successful debut album ‘Tear Me Down’, young UK four piece Skarlett Riot return with the riff-packed, hood laden ‘We Are The Brave’.

Due for release February 16th, 2015, ‘We Are The Brave’ is a hard hitting, collection of songs; still packed with the memorable choruses and outstanding vocals the fans have come to expect.

Prior to ‘We Are The Brave’ the band release the powerful single ‘Rising’ on January 19th. The band have filmed a video clip accompany the release which will be hitting the screens via Scuzz and Kerrang TV in the New Year.

The band released a lyric video for the stand-alone single ‘House Of Cards’ (check it out below).

The band will be hitting the road in 2015 in support of ‘We Are The Brave’, and have recently confirmed they will be touring with Ozzy Osbourne/Firewind guitarist Gus G and will be opening for the legendary Kamelot at their special ‘one night only’ show in London.

 About Skarlett Riot…

‘it’s fair to say that UK quartet Skarlett Riot don’t lack confidence. As anyone that’s had the pleasure of witnessing this young four-piece live will attest to.

In an already jam-packed career Skarlett Riot have wowed audiences at Download (earning a 4K live review from Kerrang!) and Bloodstock, and have shared stages across the UK with the likes of Wednesday 13, D-A-D, Reckless Love, Heaven’s Basement, Periphery, Firewind, Black Spiders, Edguy, Taking Dawn, L.A Guns, Glamour Of The Kill, Crashdiet, Vains Of Jenna, Deaf Havana, Francesqa plus many more.

Formed back in 2010, this female-fronted band were soon taking their local scene by storm with their powerful, riff-led songs, blending melody and grit with a muscular garage rock’n’roll backbone. Add to that an ear for infectious hooks, and you have a band that not only has bags of attitude but the songs to back them up!

 The band’s debut EP, the critically acclaimed “Villain”, set the benchmark high and led to glowing praise within the rock community; Big Cheese, Kerrang, Powerplay, Rocksound were all glowing in their praise. The band released a music video in support of the EP which hit rotation on Scuzz and Kerrang TV which led to the band landed a slot at the legendary Download festival where the band were invited to open the Pepsi Max stage. A chance they grabbed with both hands and earnt themselves another 4K review in Kerrang, as well as a place in Scuzz TV’s ‘Top 40 Bands Who Rocked Download’ piece.

The band added the prestigious Reading and Leeds festivals to their live resume.

 2013 has seen the band release their debut album, ‘Tear Me Down’ to rave reviews across the rock press, including 4K’s in Kerrang, 4/5 in Big Cheese, 9/10 in Powerplay, 9/10 in Soundscape magazine amongst a plethora of amazing reactions across the board.

Their first single from the album, the anthemic ‘Faded Memory’ saw the band earning support from Radio 1, who added the band to their daytime playlist and led to the band being featured on national shows from Sara Cox, Greg James, Scott Mills and Huw Stephens amongst others. The band have also featured on Kerrang Radio as well as being added to the playlists of a host of regional shows.

 the video for the band’s latest single ‘What We’ve Become’ has been added to Kerrang TV’s latest schedule and will once again be backed up with a far-reaching radio campaign to ensure that no-one is likely to forget Skarlett Riot anytime soon!
