“That sounds ready to me, when you put it in the category/company of Paolo Nutini, Ben Howard – Tenterhook sounds ready! Well done eh” Zane Lowe
“Almost unfeasibly young… yet his music has a world-weariness, a sighing nature which could only come from the weight of experience” Clash
“Expect Tenterhook to make serious inroads in 2015” Crack In The Road
“One of the most promising artists to emerge so far this year” When The Gramophone Rings

Ahead of the release of his ‘Tenterhook 2’ EP, Tenterhook has shared the stunning video for new track ‘Go Easy’.

The visual, filmed in Poland, shows two characters surviving a disaster, exactly what is open to interpretation. Director Łukasz Pytlik (Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros) based the idea on Stephen King’s novel ‘The Stand’, where the characters suffer under Randall Flagg. The entire video is played in reverse so the viewer doesn’t know why the characters are alone or what has happened until the end. Watch here.

Tenterhook – 19-year-old Archie Faulks – releases ‘Tenterhook 2’ on 24th November via Cartoon Records. He is currently on tour in Europe supporting Icelandic musician Ásgeir, which includes a date at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 26th November.

Tenterhook has already been on his own travels around Europe, when he spent his summer going from city to city, busking to pay for the trip. He visited Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Munich, Bucharest, Zagreb & Split.

2014 has already seen him sell out his two headline shows at London’s prestigious Servant Jazz Quarters and St. Pancras Old Church, as well as various support dates with Luke Sital Singh, Young The Giant and Grant Nicholas. He also found himself featured as Zane Lowe’s ’Next Hype’ on Radio 1 with additional support from R1’s Alice Levine, XFM’s John Kennedy, 6music’s Steve Lamacq and Amazing Radio.
