DEBUT EP RELEASED TODAY
LIVE: HOXTON BAR & KITCHEN – DEC 1st
Red House Glory have today released their debut EP Living A Lie. The three track EP from the London rock quartet is a powerful statement of intent and a distinct marker of big things to come. Merging dynamic riffs and classic songwriting with swaggering melody and contemporary bite, it sees them blazing their own path amongst the new breed of British rock.
EP opener and title track ‘Living A Lie’ explores dark alt-rock and blistering blues influences, calling to mind the varied likes of Tax The Heat, Royal Blood and Oasis. The dark and trippy video for the song is hauntingly disturbing, a literal head-fuck of performance and psychic trauma.
Second track ‘Fever’ is a dramatic and chilling bass-laden driver; a twisted relationship between light and dark, it offers the stoner edge of early Weezer meeting the deep movements of Interpol. EP closer ‘Friend Of Mine’ however channels a different groove, laced with the mysticism of Asian-inspired riffs and has the aching twists and turns of a British Alice In Chains.
“A pretty huge statement. Rock how it should sound!” – Nothing But Hope And Passion
