Announces the birth of THE PRINT BANK (charitable trust)
In a major event ‘Art Rocks – The City 2014’

The esteemed Rockarchive collective of photographers have donated a selection of 30 of their finest prints (signed by top rock musicians) to a newly formed charitable trust called THE PRINT BANK. These will be auctioned at a major event on 5th November 2014.

Artists who have signed prints for this special auction include members of Pink Floyd, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Kate Bush, Brian Wilson, Noel Gallagher and Oasis, Madness, George Martin, Lenny Kravitz, Amy Winehouse, Brian Ferry, Nile Rodgers, Chrissie Hynde, The Police and many others.

Beneficiaries will be: The Teenage Cancer Trust, Shelter, Shooting Stars Hospice and St. James Place Foundation.

The aims of THE PRINT BANK (charitable trust) are:
1. To distribute the funds it raises in print auctions to charities favoured by both the musicians in the pictures and the artists who make them.
2. To help preserve rock and roll cultural heritage, particularly in the UK, until a publicly funded museum or cultural centre for popular music can be founded.
