Next London show in December

After a breathtaking performance to a sold-out London’s St Pancras Church last month and the release of their latest EP Smoke and Mirrors, British duo Ivy & Gold are pleased to reveal a special new video.

From the recent EP, ‘Behind The Mask’ is a haunting, fragile tale of love, deception and overcoming betrayal:
“Mother / Tell me is this where the story ends / Do I have to start again / _
Who’s the man behind the mask / You wore it when you had me fooled / To the last laugh”_.

The video was created in collaboration with Space NK, who handpicked Ivy & Gold to be the faces and sound of their homage to the renowned make-up artist Kevyn Aucoin (1962-2002). Aucoin worked with the likes of Naomi Campbell, Gwyneth Paltrow and Courtney Love, Space NK are hosting an exclusive retrospective exhibition at their Knightsbridge store from Oct 21st – Oct 26th.

Comprised of Rachel Wilkinson and Jamie Davies, Ivy & Gold are inspired by soundtrack composers Tom Tyker (Cloud Atlas, Run Lola Run) and Hans Zimmer as well as Florence & The Machine, James Blake and Banks. Their EPs demonstrate the strength of their songwriting: cinematic arrangements are complimented by sublime melodies and Rachel’s powerful vocals.

The two-piece’s next live show is confirmed for December at London’s Roundhouse Studio. Additionally, anyone that purchases a ticket for the forthcoming show (via Ticketmaster & Ticketweb) will receive a free exclusive download of an unreleased Ivy & Gold track.
