The Pictish Trail is pleased to share the delightful new video for ‘The Handstand Crowd’. Taken from the acclaimed Secret Soundz Vol 2, click here to watch it.
Filmed at his Howlin’ Fling festival on the Isle of Eigg – which took place in July featuring performances from the likes of Jens Lekman, Steve Mason, Alexis Taylor and Beth Orton – the video is part of a short film about the festival due later this month.

Made by Forest of Black (Belle & Sebastian, Camera Obscura, The Pastels), the video for ‘The Handstand Crowd’ intentionally only focuses on the audience and not the musicians, it’s a reference to the song title, the sense of comfort and also isolation within a crowd.

The Pictish Trail is heading out on tour with Moshi Moshi labelmate Sweet Baboo later this year including a date at London’s Southbank Centre.
