Northern California indie rock quintet Brolly will release their new EP ‘Wolfe’ on digital markets September 23rd. ‘Wolfe’ is a collection of 5 carefully arranged songs poetically narrating encounters with heartbreak, loss of innocence, and the need to make beauty out of these experiences. Combining lush layers of ambient production and entrancing lyrics, Yuba City band, Brolly, splices the spacious soundscapes of Sigur Ros with the epic choral hooks of Coldplay and Band of Horses to create a catalog of sounds that’s as much about the journey as the destination.
Some of their most exciting accomplishments to date has been having their song “Hollow Home Rd” featured on BBC Radio 1 by Huw Stephens and a mention in NME. Brolly will release their second EP, Wolfe, September 23. The album was mostly self recorded by the band, and in part by producer Dryw Owens (From Indian Lakes, Culprit, Consider the Thief) and mastered by Dan Coutant at Sun Room Audio (Gaslight Anthem, Frightened Rabbit, US Royalty).
