Street Party in Soho are a four-piece alternative indie rock band from Newcastle Upon Tyne. Within the last two years they have embarked on various UK tours and played at festivals such as Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival alongside the likes of The 1975 and Bastille. In October 2012, their critically acclaimed debut single ‘Take Your Time’ was released gaining XFM’s single of the week and airplay on BAFTA Award winning hit reality TV show ‘Made in Chelsea’ as well as it being posted to NME.com. The band also attracted the attention of industry producers such as Alan Smyth (Arctic Monkeys), Gordon Raphael (The Strokes) and more recently Jay Henchman (Jordin Sparks) as well as Virgin Records + EMI Records.
