‘WHERE THE DESERT MEETS THE MOUNTAIN’
Purveyors of avant-garde post-hardcore death-pop, Ghosts As Alibis will unleash their epic new EP on Monday 11th August.
The Cardiff four-piece followed up last year’s ‘gargantuan and cinematic’ (Miniature Music Press) debut, The Fine Line between Coincidence and Fate, with a string of visceral gigs across Wales and the South West, accompanied by bands such as Rolo Tomassi, Bastions and THISISWRECKAGE.
Decamping to a cottage in deepest, darkest Wales to truly immerse themselves in isolation and inspiration, the band self-recorded the new EP in January 2014. The resulting record chronicles the journey of a nameless protagonist and his saga of loss, solitude and mortality.
Where the Desert Meets the Mountain will be available on iTunes and Ltd Edition CD from Monday 11th August, following a special launch gig on Friday 8th. Hosted by Cardiff’s legendary Clwb Ifor Bach, the show will include a live performance of the record, complete with special guests, and support from fellow Cardiff rockers Calling Apollo.
